This guide is built from two sources: firsthand experience moving to and living in the UAE, and cross-checking against official government portals (linked at the bottom of each relevant guide page — ICP, MOHRE, RTA, DEWA, KHDA, and the Federal Tax Authority, among others). Where a rule or process is likely to change, we say so, and point you to the official source rather than guessing.
02What this guide is — and isn't
This is general orientation, written in plain language for someone new to the UAE. It is not legal, financial, medical, or immigration advice, and it shouldn't be your only source for a decision with real money or legal consequences attached. For anything specific to your situation — a visa category, a contract, a medical question — the guide points you toward a licensed professional or the relevant government authority rather than trying to replace one.

Rules and fees in the UAE change, and a one-person team will occasionally miss an update. If something on this site is outdated or incorrect, message us directly through the community WhatsApp group — corrections are usually made within a few days.
